» What needed for accelerate study

  1. Text to Speech program
  2. Grammarly
  3. Extra monitor

If you are thinking to complete your study in just 1 term and save your money, then you need a little bit of preparation.

1. Text to Speech software

Before starting anything, you need to prepare your environment to study.

One third of the text book you see in the online text book has a option that reads out in voice for you.

In my experience, it is better to use this function to not only watching the text but hearing it at the same time with your ears.

I was able to remember better and concentrate better when hearing and wanted to hear the text even when the function wasn’t provided in the online text book.

To make this happen, download a free app called Balabolka.

Balabolka is a Text-To-Speech(TTS) program and reads all of your text book by voice.

Go to Balabolka’s website

2. Grammarly

You must invest in grammarly.

Grammarly automatically corrects all of your writing.

This is way advanced than the wavy lines you see in normal word documents.

I was able to get competent in my first attempt of all of my paperwork
after I joined grammarly.

I regret that I didn’t join before I worked on any of my assignments.

I recommend you the Quarterly Plan $59.95 because it is a lot cheaper per month.
But if you just want to try it out first, I recommend the Monthly $29.95
If you are an accelerated student, you don’t need the Annual plan.
You will be finished by then. However The annual plan $11.66 / month seems really cheap for what it does.

If you want to complete MBA in 1 term(6 months) = $4,325 and not wanting to pay another $4,325 in your next 6 months, then you should invest in Grammarly.

3. Extra Monitor

To maximize efficiency, you want to have an extra monitor to make it 2 screens.

If your using a laptop it is easy as just connecting the monitor to your laptop’s HDMI port. Your laptop is one screen and the additional screen is your extra monitor.
That’s it. Quite simple isn’t it?

If your using a desktop PC and you are currently using the only HDMI port for one of your screen already, then you just need to use the DVI connection.

The extra monitor would cost you around $70- $100. It is worth it.

I often opened the course text book on one screen and while reading and listening to it at the same time, I had excel or word opened on the other screen and copied the area I thought was important.

The most time consuming thing is to go back to your text book and read it twice.
If you have captured everything you think is important in your excel file the first time, then you only have to search through your file by doing Ctrl+F using the search function.

When you find areas that are important in the text book, highlight the area with your mouse and do Ctrl+C to copy, then go to your excel and do Ctrl+V to paste it.

With a 2 screen environment, it only takes you couple of seconds to do this.

This has accelerated my study time drastically.
